I used Photoshop’s Polar Coordinate Filter, Photomatix Pro to tone map the original image,
Nik Color Efex to add a slight glow and a texture overlay to create this look.

This image was created by layering 2 separate images-
one for the “grounds” and the window was used on top.
I used Topaz Simplify to give the leaves some interest,
I used a layer mask to repeat the road and star-burst,
Nik Silver Efex for the B&W conversion and assorted
Photoshop filters for the illuminated glow of the “grounds”

I do like what you do with polar coordinates Denise – turned out real nice!
Beautiful, Denise! I’m looking forward to exploring some of the techniques taught in your book in the very near future. Right now, I’m having fun just having Kaleidoscope in my Photoshop filters. (Thanks for your help with that!) I will tackle some of the others you have suggested once I get beyond the toddler stage of crestive editing.
Scott, Thank you. I love Polar Coordinates, it’s a great filter.
Andrea, Thank you for the kind words. Glad that Indranil was able to sort out the problem. He is a very smart man. That filter is lots of fun and can really give you some cool looks.
Denise, love the processing you did on these images. The first image has wonderful comp and glow to it and the double sunburst through the window of the second is awesome!
Andrew, I appreciate the kind words. I really loved the way the first one came out.
Very cool looking polar coordinate. I like the illuminated look to the window image.
Thanks Michael, I like that one too.
All very inspiring “how did she do that” stuff . You are very gifted with an artistic eye.
Grady, Thank you very much. I appreciate your kind words.
