I am offering a new 3 day workshop this year “Impressions of Bosque” as a follow up to my recent eBook “My First Impressions of Bosque del Apache”(see below). My first visit to Bosque del Apache was last year as a co-leader for Arthur Morris on his IPT (Instructional Photo Tour). The photographic opportunities and the overwhelming number of birds along with the gorgeous sunrise and sunset colors took me by surprise. I fell in love with the natural beauty of the place, it felt as though my soul was touched. I used to wonder what the draw to Bosque was- now I know. This is the kind of place you need to experience for yourself.

“My First Impressions of Bosque del Apache” by denise ippolito

My first visit to Bosque del Apache was last year as a co-leader for Arthur Morris on his IPT (Instructional Photo Tour). When I returned home I immediately started writing down my thoughts and compiling my many images. I knew I needed to get an eBook together and share this magical place. I am hoping that my eBook will give you inspiration to create the type of images that only come from deep inside. I want to fill your head with visions of color and light and soft romantic hues. Free your inner creativity and express yourself through your images utilizing ideas and thoughts that you may not have had before reading my eBook.
This 127 page 3,900 word eBook with over 100 of my signature images is available as a PDF download for $16.00.

A Couple of Reviews:
Denise,

Thanks, I have just finished a first reading through this amazing collection of your Bosque impressions. I’ve been there a couple of times in November, will be back this November, and your “First Impressions…” gives me tons of ideas for new fresh photography, especially the blurs. You got some really tack sharp images of cranes and geese as well, and I know those take a lot of skill.

Congrats on a job very well done. I’ll go back through it again tonight and make a few notes to myself to use when I return to the Bosque.

Best,

Keith

Hey Denise, I just browsed thru your e-book on Bosque del Apache. I really loved your vision of the place. What impresses me the most is your use of the blur. Your technique is flawless and I loved how you used the blur technique in a way that made the images very recognizable but yet, very creative and impressionist like. I’m glad that you included your choice of camera settings on the blur images, so that one can learn from your technique, however, if I had one thing to nit pick on, I wish you had included your camera settings on the non-blur images as well. For me, it would put into perspective how you approached the shots, and as a learning tool, I feel it be more useful to those who want to learn from your experiences. Just my thought, and opinion. I loved the e-book and am very glad I purchased it. Thank you!!

    Hi Denise,

For a first-time visit you did an amazing job capturing the essence, feeling and rhymthm of this most beautiful and unique place. I have gone there the last three years and each year is a little different. Bosque is never the same each time one goes there. Sublte changes, different opportunties. Having been there around the time you, Artie and Robert were there with Artie’s IPT brings back many superb, shared memories. Though I have not been on Artie’s IPTs when I was there I made sure to have his site guide and updates in hand each time. Your ebook compliments his site guide very well and your creativity and imagination shows. I now want to revisit my images and look at them through different eyes. Thanks for your dedication in bringing these impressions of Bosque to life. Well done!

    Best regards,

    Dave Klein

Dave, It means so much to me to hear those kind words, thank you. As an artist it is such a high when you are finally able to get your “vision” on paper. That feeling can only be trumped by knowing that someone else out there gets your vision :)
