I changed the perspective of this door using the lens correction filter in Photoshop. I did that to create some added interest and drama to the image. To access the filter go to FILTERS> DISTORT> LENS CORRECTION. Once inside the filter under transform you will see two sliders one for vertical perspective and one for horizontal perspective. I moved the horizontal slider to the left until I liked the way it looked. I knew I wanted to crop in tight so I didn’t worry about the surrounding canvas. After I made the perspective adjustment I added some texture to the image as described in my “Guide to Creative Filters and Effects” eBook. I destaurated the image and as a final tweak I adjusted the contrast.

I liked the crazy look of this image so I just added some adjustments with Nik Color Efex and Topaz Adjust to punch it up a bit.

This is the base of one of the Ficus trees that were planted in large planters at the Kimmel Center for performing arts. I desaturated this and added the Glamour Glow filter in Color Efex along with a small amount of the Poster Edges filter from Photoshop.

I created a slight illustrated look to this image using multiple filters.

This is a ceiling fixture from one of the outside areas downtown. I’m not sure what they are used for but if you look closely you can see my reflection. I added a zoom blur in Photoshop and finished it with a Topaz Adjust filter.

This image reminds me of tiles but it is actually a building that is reflected on another building. I punched up the blacks and tweaked the contrast. I also cropped and rotated it.

I used the Detail Stylizer filter in Nik Color Efex ( I don’t use this filter very much) on this image of a plain gray shadow of an iron fence that I captured on the streets of Philadelphia. Then I added a gradient tint to reduce the electric pink just a little :) .
