Red Fox ~ New Jersey

I took a couple of private clients out to photograph some Red Fox. We found one and he/she was cooperative and friendly. Here are a couple of mine from the day. I liked the look back pose in the first image so I decided to go vertically for that one. I used a slight curve adjustment along with a layer mask to help me create a more natural vignette for both images.

Nice! Also like the way the head points left and the tail points right.

Thanks Don, I appreciate it :)

It’s an appealing pose in the first one, but I like the second even better. Great color. But the non-fox parts of the image really do it for me. In addition, it looks intent on something in that image, and I want to know the rest of the story.

Thank you Dennis, I appreciate you taking the time to comment :)

  4. Denise,
Love the first image. Don’t usually like wildlife butt shots but that image works. Great DOF Is it true that your nickname used to be the red fox?

Thanks Vinnie, You are too funny :)

  5. Denise, I love both images, but the first one is especially nice with the over-the-shoulder pose. Great captures.
