Victorian Paperwhite

Image © 2012/Denise Ippolito Photography

I added a texture overlay from Shadowhouse Creations (Bokeh 4) to this image of a Paperwhite that I photographed at Longwood Gardens in PA. I liked the romantic, Victorian feel to it and left the texture at full strength. I also added a touch of Fractalius and the Bi-Color Filter in Nik Color Efex 4 (use code BAA to save 15%) . I wish everyone and their family a Happy Holiday Season!

I like it the effect, too. And, coincidentally, I’m working on an image using Bokeh-3.

    Happy Holidays to you, Denise.

Ha! It must be Bokeh season…I just posted one on Facebook a few days ago! Blue with a dragon fly! I love how you kept the texture full strength on your flower…big impact…lots of mystery. Happy holiday to you, Denise. May you make many more beautiful images in the new year!
