That HDR/fisheye image is a gem. Composition. Texture. And a look that absolutely fits the subject. I couldn’t agree more with your “images gone wild” statement. The effects we apply should be tools to reach our objective rather than an end in themselves. Thanks for mentioning the Duplex preset. It made me take another look at it, and lo and behold . . . I’d never played around with it enough to see what it can do. Exploration can reap unexpected benefits.

I like the ceiling image, too. Great perspective, lines, colors, texture, and range of tones.

Your images of the silk mill have made a visit there even more important to me than it already was. Thank you.
