ALL CANVAS PRINTS ARE PROFESSIONALLY DONE
I am a full time professional photographer, workshop leader, and artist living in New Jersey. One of my recent (of many) eBooks is Bloomin’ Ideas. It features 55 of my evocative flower images that represent my unique way of blending art and nature. I travel extensively presenting slide lectures and seminars and teaching photography and Photoshop. My workshops feature a variety of subjects including: avian, flower, urbex and HDR photography. I was a moderator for Bird Photographers Net in the Out-of-the-Box Forum for 4 years where I worked helping participants improve their images using innovative techniques done either in-camera or during post-processing.
In 2010 and again in 2014 I received a Highly Honored award in the prestigious Windland Smith Rice Nature’s Best competition. Also in 2014 one of my images was selected as part of the People’s Choice Awards Top 50 Images in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition. I have also won several PSA (Photographic Society of America) awards. My images have been published in magazines and books, sold as greeting cards, calendars and most recently featured in a Sierra Club Documentary.
I am available to give a slide show presentation to your club or organization. My program “A Blend of Art and Nature” will explore the combination of art and nature. My artistic bird photographs and creative filter designs will inspire you to step out of the box of conformity. I will share some of my pleasing blurs along with some of my tack-sharp flight shots. Folks will enjoy the visual experience of seeing photographs from local hot spots and iconic images from around the country. This show will have something for everyone. NEW for 2012 Bloomin’ Ideas Slide Program/Lecture.
My one hour slide program/lecture “Bloomin’ Ideas” will cover the in-camera techniques that I use to capture beautiful flower images: composition, depth-of-field and selective focus, the use of extension tubes and reflectors, and the use of natural light. You will learn to create impressionistic flower blurs by using your camera as your paintbrush. I will also go into detail explaining my creative processing and multiple filtering effects that I use on a daily basis. You will be inspired to develop your creative vision and your own original works of art. If you love to photograph flowers this program is for you.
My most popular offering is my 3-4 hour hands on workshop at the location of your clubs choice. The workshop would be conducted on a Saturday or Sunday and would require a 10 person minimum. Group rate discount would apply. Entrance fees to the location would be separate and not included in my fee. Travel expenses and lodging for Out of State Clubs will be priced accordingly.
My recent eBooks include:
“The Art of Flower Photography” by Denise Ippolito and Arthur Morris. This 203 page eBook with more than 140 images is available for $29.00. This eBook replaces my “Softer Side of Macro” eBook that has been discontinued. There is not much overlap between this and Bloomin” Ideas, they are very different eBooks.
“Bloomin’ Ideas” by Denise Ippolito. In this eBook I present an overview of the in-the-field and post-processing techniques that I have used and developed over the past few years to make my flower images special. This eBook features 55 all-new photographs. Though some of the topics have been covered previously in either “The Softer Side of Macro” or “A Guide to Creative Filters and Effects,” this eBook represents the first time that they are available in a single package. Those who love photographing flowers as much as I do will want to get their copy as soon as possible. *Knowledge of Photoshop layers and layer masks is recommended.
