I received an email from Jance Rosner sharing her good news about a newspaper article featuring her image that she captured while on our Japan trip. I wanted to share the image because not only is it an artistic shot but Janice is a very creative photographer. She loves nature as much as I do and when you meet like-minded people that are doing nice things for the environment and wildlife you try to support them So huge congrats to Janice for her wonderful image and news! Here is the article .
From Janice:
This image was taken in Hokkaido, Japan on a trip with Denise Ippolito and Paul McKenzie. My local camera club has been offered gallery space in a local frame shop and I submitted this image for consideration for the gallery show. The local newspaper did a story on the gallery and show and I was asked if they could use my image for the newspaper write up. I was quite honored given that we have many fine photographers in the group. I consider myself primarily a wildlife and nature photographer. Proceeds from my photography are donated to wildlife and conservation non-profits. My website is at rosnerpics.com
* I know the bird was really calling but I thought “Catching Snowflakes” was a nicer title.
Just a quick note about my upcoming Zoom Virtual Safari. It is on July 29th at 6pm EST, the link was sent out to all subscribers of my blog. I will not be publishing the link due to zoom-bombers and hackers. If you did not receive the link please email me and I will send it to you. But please know that these free programs are for subscribers to my my blog. So go ahead and subscribe so you will get the invite for the next one. Also, it is on a first come first serve basis. If you do not get in or cannot make the event, I will be doing others soon….and I will come up with a better way to register. I just need to do this first one as a trial. Thanks so much for your patience.
