Ride or Die was originally a biker term meaning if you couldn't ride you'd rather die. It has now changed to mean anyone (wife, boyfriend, best friend), that you will “ride” ANY problems out with them or “die” trying and it is in this context that I write the following.
We use to travel to the ends of the earth seeking out the unknown; exploring new sights and scenes, gathering images. We would lean on each other during rough weather or low ebbs. Our ties of friendship, limitless. It was as if we were a team of dedicated allies willing to infiltrate any location in search of our desired photos. Many of those friendships born out of a need for artistic expression and love for nature.
I miss you all very much. I am looking forward to once again being able to freely travel the globe. Until then, I hope you can all hang in there and continue doing things that keep you well and happy. I will be starting a series titled “Come Fly With Me”-see the concept below. I hope you will join me on one of the many virtual trips I have planned.

COME FLY WITH ME—Well, virtually that is… Take an African safari to the Maasai Mara National Reserve with me. During this adventure we will explore the many predators of this vast savanna wilderness; we will also see the tender moments these beast eaters share with their young. Throughout this virtual safari I’ll share my camera settings for each shot a well as what I was thinking as I captured each image. It will be just like you are there sitting next to me in the safari vehicle.
